I don't know if you're familiar with Etsy? I never heard of it until I moved up here to MN. A friend of mine turned me onto it and it's pretty nifty. The main point of my post is to share the info with any of you who do crafts. Etsy is an almost-free way to get your stuff out. I'm new to it and still learning....
They charge 20 cents to list an item for 3 months. Then they take a small amount when you make a sale (I think it's 3 percent). With each listing you get to upload 5 large pictures and put in a description. Customizing options are minimal but you can have a custom banner on your shop and you can designate sections for your merchandise if you choose. I'm not great artist but I've been plucking around on there since last month and it's going really well. I've "met" some very cool people and made some sales. It's fun... and sometimes I find myself spending too much time! Lol.
Anyway, here's my shop:
*Note that I have no USAF or USCG stuff... but only because I haven't yet found charms that are in a reasonable price range for what I'm doing. Tips are welcomed! LOL.

| I think it is perfectly fine!
I just heard about it the other day. My dad and I were talking about. He is a pretty well known artist is the art world. He was just given a place on the American Craft Council Board (which is kind of a big deal) and they were talking about whether to support the site or something like that. But it really is an amazing site for artist to get there art out there. You think 10 years ago it was almost impossible to get artwork out there because you had to go to art shows and things. (We did a lot of travelling to art shows and gallery openings when I was a kid) Now all you have to do is put it on the Internet. It really makes a difference. The way the internet has changed all aspects of life amazes me some days. Anyway just my addition to the subject.
