Member of the Month/Hero of the Month

Or possibly even of the Quarter since we are small numbers right now.

But I'd like to suggest having something like this to recognize our members and member SO's

Something that we can put on the Home page for people to see.

Didn't we start this already?

And members were able to ask questions to the member of the spolight thing.

Not sure about hero though and how would that one work exactly not everyone's partners are currently AD or reserves etc.

if you consider your so to be your hero, it doesn't matter if they are active, reserves or retired in my opinion


member spotlight is just a way to get to know other members.



Member of the Month, would be recognizing that member as a contributing member of SR

Hrm ok. Spotlight/month sort of sound like the same thing to me. And what would count as a contribution?

being active, being a good friend, being supportive

this is also something we did long ago when the board was first up and running

Yes but I came in June and the board split in September so I was around that long with stuff though I do remember. How would they get chosen and who chooses? Do members mgs who they think should be? Do we vote?

Keep in mind this is just ideas

but i think a little of both, member suggestions and not just giving a name I think a name suggestion should come with a reason why. I dont think voting on the board is the best way to do it, it may hurt some feelings. but staff could tally em behind the scenes? idk how that could work.
