Does anyone have any great summertime drinks they would like to share? Whether its a special kind of tea or fruit drink that you make or a smoothie? I found some fun ones in a pampered chef cookbook I am going to try today so I will let you know how it comes out. With Memorial weekend right around the corner its a perfect time to start breaking out those cool and refreshing drinks.

in the produce section, they always have those blender packets...for a banana, orange, smoothie, etc

we grab the banana ones for the kiddos they are always a big hit!!

Sam's club has a strawberry mango tequila mix---we mixed that up virgin style with Ginger Ale---the kids LOVED that!

Im with trisha on the blender packs! they are awesome! I always get strawberry banana!

I love making bahama mamas too! I make them differently than most though! I use coconut rum and 99 bananas with strawberry and banana mix!

This is a great one with alcohol for hot summer days!!!

SLUSH
3- 2L bottles of Fresca or Diet Sprite
2- 10 oz. jars of cherries
4- 12 oz cans of frozen lemonade
1.75 of Vodka

Mix all ingredients together in a very large bowl (or somekind of large container) and the Freeze! (I normally use the empty 2L bottles to funnel drink back into for freezing) When you want to have a drink, take out and let thaw until it has a slushy consistency! This make a A LOT so you can try to half the recipe or you will be able to have some on multiple occasions (also another reason to use 2L bottles to freeze in)

I also make my own fruit smoothies!

I get a couple cups of frozen strawberries, a cup of milk, 3/4 cup of splenda, and sometimes I will splash in some pineapple juice to make it tangy! Mike likes it when I put in a small handful of blueberries! All my measurements are off because I usually guesstimate!
