| The debate section will go through a few changes right now. We are now limiting access! You MUST sign these rules before you will be added to the debate forum. If the rules are NOT signed then you will NOT have access to post or even see the section. With that being said please sign the rules in this post. I will check in for people who have signed so I can add them but if you arent added within a few hours then please just send me or another staff member a PM and we will make sure you get added right away!
Here are the NEW rules. Please Sign and you will have access!
*Please do not threaten anyone.
*No personal attacks, members are entitled to their opinion, just because it isn't your opinion does not give you the right to put them down or berate them. Personal attacks include (but is not limited to) name calling, accusations, and judgements of another member.
If a debate gets too heated, or members violate the rules, the debate will be locked and removed (not deleted) from the debate section.
*You must have 100 posts to participate.
*Touchy subjects such as (but not limited to) religion will be monitored closely by the staff.
*If you find that you are getting offended by another member we ask that you step away from the debate and inform a staff member of the problem. We will address all problems on a case by case basis. Remember, please do not retaliate! It is childish and will not be tolerated. PM any staff member right away and we will look into it and deal with the issue. We can't stress this enough!
Course of Action:
After one complaint or warning about rule violations a member will lose access in the debate section for one week. If a second violation occurs the member will lose access for 30 days. If a third violation occurs the member will lose access indefinitely.

Please remember that this is the debate section. Things may get heated. People may strongly agree or disagree but remember everyone is entitled to their own opinion. We are all adults here and we must be respectful of each other. If you get easily offended then please do not post here. Remember... these are just opinions, no opinion is right or wrong and we all have the right to voice our opinions. If the topic is getting too heated, or you are getting too heated, step back and take a break from the debate section and come back when you are level headed again.
If you feel like you are being attacked please remember to contact a SR staff member.
