I quit!

After this cycle we will be hanging up our medically TTC hats! At least for a little while! I am not responding nearly as well to the injections as they had hoped. I am halfway through the injections and my follicles arent stimulating like they should be. I got the news to up my dose today.

My body is sore. I am wore out emotionally and physically! 2 injections a day plus blood work every other day is really straining me, especially when I find out that it isnt working. My belly is bruised and sore and it takes awhile to even find a spot that isnt super tender. Yesterday I had to inject myself into a bruised area because there is so much bruising.

With that being said.. we are going to contact the state tomorrow and see what we need to do to become foster parents! We are hoping that we can get the home study done before Mike gets back and as soon as he gets back from training we can start the classes or whatever it is we need to do!

Well I am sad that the injections havent been working for you right now, but I am excited about foster care!!!!!!!!!! I love new babies!

We really want to try fostering to adopt as well...of course it will have to be 2 years from now when we get back from Korea but I really think you will be an awesome foster mommy!!!

Im sorry to hear that all the medications isnt working for you! BUT I think you will be a great foster mommy and there are so many kids that need a safe place to call home! That is really admirable of you and your husband!! Keep us updated on the process. I watch Adoption Stories of Discovery Health all the time and I definitely think it is amazing!!

ohhh Sarahhhhhh, i am sorry to hear that...but I can honestly say, I don't blame you....and I thnk becoming a Foster Parent is such an admirable thing to do!!! also very rewarding

I'm sorry to hear it's not turning out like you had hoped. But I truly believe you guys are going to be the family that makes a difference in some kids life, for the better. Don't give up hope sweetie. Maybe God just has a different plan for you.

Im sorry to hear that things arent working out like they had hoped! But on the bright side.. you can always foster to adopt. Jeremy's preachers wife does that..
