I went to see my PCM today to talk to her about my weight. I eat VERY healthy. No pop, not junk. It's all fresh fruits and veggies, fish, low fat, fat free. I am very concious about my eating habits. For whatever reason I just cannot get the weight off. I have to see my neurologist on Wednesday. I am having a new brain scan done. My PCM and neurologist seem to think that the weight issue is directly related to my seizures. I had a brain injury that caused the seizures, and around the same time the seizures started the weight gain started too. The doc is hoping the new scan will lead us to some answers. I'm kind of excited and kind of nervous. We've confirmed it's not my meds causing the problem. So if they can tell me what it is, maybe we'll finally know what's going on.
