Mike has been getting a numb arm for the past week or so. Its his right arm so we were not so concerned about it but when he went to drill yesterday he was talking to one of his medic friends and they suggested he get it checked out ASAP

So to add to our to-do list today... To the doctor!

Its his ENTIRE arm up to his shoulder and a couple weeks ago I noticed that his right hand was shaking but that stopped the same day. I hope they arent related

We went to the family physician and they did blood work to rule out anything thyroid. Also he is having nerve testing done. He is wearing a wrist brace right now in case its carpol tunnel or whatever that is. They are going to call us and set up the testing so we shall see how that goes. He is NOT happy about the wrist brace though! lol

Thats what we are thinking it is... it comes and goes but they said something about inflammation and it causing long term damage

Yea that should be checked. Dj injured his shoulder when he was working out and it bothered him for awhile before he had it checked.

It could also be bursitis which is inflammation and can be reoccuring but get progressively worse if left untreated. That is a pain in the butt I've had it and when it flares up I just want to tell it to GTFO! but it doesn't listen and stuff needs to happen for it to go away.

Yeah. Mine did that when I messed up my rotator cuffs. I'd recommend going to an orthopedic doc that specializes in sports injuries if you can.

Ack rotar cuffs can be bad juju. they can be really hard to heal without surgery sometimes.

But hopefully Mike is AOK and the doc will just say its the nerves or whatever.
