| I still have 2 months till the big party, but I'm trying to get ideas together for party food for my husband's graduation party (he will officially be a PA and have his masters). We are wanting to keep the party simple, think backyard BBQ. well if the weather cooperates. We'll be grilling up some BBQ chicken, brats, hotdogs, etc. Now I just need to come up with sides, etc. I have ideas and I am pretty good at planning this type of stuff but I would really like some other people's ideas because well other ideas are always great too!
So if you were planning a party, Backyard BBQ style, what would you serve?

| Not all at the same time:
Potato Salad Pasta Salad Macaroni and Cheese Either a regular garden salad or a veggie tray maybe some grilled veggies? Cheese Dip (rotel dip if it's for my family, because that's all they will eat) Fresh Fruit with a fruit dip Baked beans
umm...I can't think of anything else off the top of my head. Probably for dessert a combo of graduation cake and icecream.

| Pin wheels are ALWAYS a hit at our cookouts and were requested at every FRG meeting we had! It took a LOT of pinwheels for the entire FRG group! lol | |

| Cucumbers stuffed with chicken salad.... basically just chop the cuc's pretty thick and scrape out a little hole and put a scoop of chicken salad. It's a really refreshing, light dish to balance a lot of typical yummy, but heavy BBQ foods.
I also recommend a cold pasta salad with lots of veggies mixed in.

| Do something like macaroni salad but make it your own. I dont do traditonal elbow macaroni but (oh man huge brain fart) a fun pasta. WE have a tendency to stick to hot wings also | |
