I am in the mood for some comfort food... I don't want the normal kind of foods ...some kind of spicy noodle dish with cashews or peanuts or some good hot and sour soup...

Mark and I were talking and he says that isn't comfort food...but why not? because its not typical American food? So what are some of your not so traditional comfort foods?

I don't think I have a non traditional or traditional one...I like ice cream when I am down a bit but that's about it but I don't think of it as food really...

Most of my comfort foods are "traditional" comfort foods. Mashed potatoes and gravy, mac n cheese, anything fried...

I guess chinese food would be my non-traditional comfort food. Fried potatoes would be my regular one, but I'm lazy so I don't get them a lot. It's easier to just call and order chinese food.

I don't really have any comfort food. I have had too many issues in my life with food and my eating disorder that no food is really comforting to me. I wish I did though...lol...it would be nice to be able to find comfort in a food.
