Oh p90x....

So I started p90x yesterday, and let me tell you, I haven't had a workout like that in a while! Alicia and I decided on the Lean p90x program which focuses on more cardio than strength training. And yesterday was core synergistics or something like that and I"m not as sore as I thought I would be but I can definitely feel it lol. I was totally freaked out when someone told me his friend ran marathons and totally got his butt handed to him with it. eeeep. lol

But today is day 2, so we will see how I"m feeling tomorrow! lol However, I can definitely say the "before" pics I took yesterday were VERY motivating to continue with this!

I want to start this program! I'm hoping my back will allow me to do it (I have a bad back and had surgery last year)...good luck! Sounds like you're off to a great start.

Is this a DVD or something? I'm curious.

I want to try this sooooo bad! My friend Adam did the program last year and he looked so awesome by the end of it! You'll do great though. I can't wait to hear your results.

where did you order yours from and what package did you get?

A bunch of the guys in the squardon did that. We have it but DJ never got time to do it. Alot of people say etting past day 3 is the hardest but after that its easy

Bobby actually ordered it for me and he got it from Beachbody.com. I don't even know what package I got but it came with the pull up bar, the after workout drink supplement, two bottles of vitamins, all the p90x dvds, plus some p90x PLUS dvds, and then resistance bands, and a diet book and a few other program books.

I kinda feel like I'm taking the easy way out with the Lean program (which is just a different organization of how you do the DVDs), but I'm getting more sore as the day goes on and if I make it through the Cardio X dvd that is tonight I will be super duper happy.

And if my results rock I just might share before and after pictures lol As of right now, the befores are NOT pretty, and I feel frumpy lol.

I started the 30 Day Shred last night and am definitely feeling it this morning!

GO HEATHER!!!!!! I did 1 1/2 months of the classic program and loved it. I chose to stop and not do it while I'm training for the music city half marathon... bc let's face it- I don't want to run for 1-2 hours and then do another hour or more of p90x. I like my couch (and now my husband) in the evenings. Thank you.

Keep up the hard work!! The first week or so was really difficult, but you start to feel great very quickly. Once the marathon is over I plan to start again and do the full 3 months. It's great that you are doing it with someone, def. adds to the motivation.

I'm still going with it! Tonight is Yoga X, and also only day 4 but I've been having lots of fun and Tony Horton is pretty entertaining. I'm pretty sore, and my abs are killing me but I'm not gonna stop until my rest day on Monday. I recommend it if anyone is looking for some fun hard HARD work!
