Update to my p90x adventure!

While I had to take a two week break with moving and all, I am still on my p90x crusade. (lol).

For those who are thinking about it, or are interested in it, I'll tell you this: I've lost 15 pounds in the last month, and 4.5 pounds in the last two weeks alone. That's with this workout, counting my calories, and watching what I eat (more protein, less sugar [however, I can't cut out soda, it's so my one need in life lol]).

My motivation at the moment: I now fit into a pair of pants I haven't been able to fit into in 2 years.

Heather that is awesome! I'm so happy for you, where did you find this program? I keep trying to get my butt in gear but I haven't felt good in almost 4 months so my motivation is down around zero!

You can find it on beachbody.com. It's just a set of 12 (I think) dvds, and then you do them in whatever order they tell you to. I have TONS of fun with it, plus I yell at the TV when it gets too hard lol. Kinda nice to be able to do that in the comfort of my own home lol

I wish I could do it but I'm still breastfeeding. Maybe when I'm done if I have the fund.

I was wondering how this was working for you. I have been thinking about trying it to rid myself of this baby weight because the workouts that I have been doing just aren't cutting it. Wow... 15 pounds in a month.... that would put me right where I need to be, back at my pre-prego body again.

And it's nice to hear that you still drink soda. I have this weakness for Pepsi and while I'm trying hard to cut back there is no way I can cut it out totally lol

Ok I REALLY want to start this now!!! I was concerned with the price, but if its worth it and I can lose some weight for summer I'm all for it!!

Bonnie if you don't get all the extra stuff and just the dvds, I don't think it's all that expensive.

Bobby bought me the package with the pull up bar, the vitamins, recovery drink, exercise bands, and the dvds. So he went all out. lol Pretty sure Jennifer said just the dvds are like $99.

Ah!!! That's so awesome!!! I want to do it but I just don't want to spend the money.

Yup... just the videos and the books that come with them are around $100.

Great job Heather! I have the program but for some reason i couldn't stick to it. I'm gong to attempt it again and really focus. My favorite was the Plyometrics half way through i felt like throwing up haha. i wasn't used to moving like that. I know people who have done this program and lost tons of weight and they look amazing. seeing this reminds me i need to get back on track.

i have been thinking about trying it i just really need some sort of motivation! :O

I have the abs and the cardio dvds. I really need to just start doing them everyday or every other day.

I asked Justin about getting it..... we will see
