Soo, I caculated my points value per the WW's scale {posted below}. And I'm allowed 35 points which equates to 1750 calories a day I am allowed. So, I'm going to try to either hit that or hit below that... and then as I lose weight, my points go down which will help me lose even more weight! =)

17 --26....................................Score 4
27--37.....................................Score 3
39--47.....................................Score 2
48--58.....................................Score 1
Over 58...................................Score 0

What do you weigh?
Enter the first 2 digits of your weight in pounds.
For example, if you weigh 175, enter 17.

How Tall are you?
Under 5'1" ..............................Score 0
5'1" to 5'10".............................Score 1
over 5'10"................................Score 2

Do you spend most of your day:
Sitting down?....................................................................Score 0
(e.g. as a receptionist, bus driver, cab driver)
Occasionally sitting, but mainly standing?............................Score 2
(e.g. sales person, housewife, cook, teacher)
Walking most of the time?..................................................Score 4
(e.g. waiter, mailman)
Doing physically hard work most of the most?......................Score 6
(e.g. nurse, gardener, construction worker)



Add all of the points together from each choice and that is your points target for the day. Each point equals 50 calories.

So, today...

I had a cinnamon rasin bagel with cream cheese for breakfast = 300 calories.

For a snack I had two pieces of string cheese = 140 calories.

Lunch I had tuscan style chicken and a pickle = 320 calories.

Snack is another two pieces of string cheese & a pudding cup = 200 calories.

Dinner turkey, green bean casserole, stuffing = 660 calories

Total Calories = 1620


Power walked for 2 miles = 200ish calories burned

1620-200=1420 calories

Wednesday, April 21, 2010.


Breakfast = 1 apple, 1 pudding cup, 1 piece of cheese = 221 calories

Snack = None -- worked out straight through snack time, haha!

Lunch = Salad {romaine lettuce, tomato, pickle, cheese, ham, ranch dressing} = 415 calories

Snack = 12 Wheat Thins and piece of string cheese = 182 calories

Dinner = Chicken, mac & cheese, and corn = 797 calories.

Total Calories = 1615 calories



Workout = 1.25 hours of Just Dance! No clue how many calories burned... but I can say I burned atleast 200.

1615-200=1415 calories.

I dance along with Just Dance today and I can say that I am much better at it when I am doing it alone. Normally Thomas is here and he laughs at how horrible I am, so it makes me laugh and not pay close enough attention to get the moves right. I found some of my favourite songs to dance along with, though!

Acceptable in the 80s


I had never heard of Accept in the 80s until I danced to it today. It was a great dance! Eye of the Tiger is really hard but such a GREAT workout.
