Subway at home Empty
PostSubject: Subway at home   Subway at home Icon_minitimeTue Mar 16, 2010 5:29 pm

this week is Spring break and we have been doing some fun things. Well Ali has been asking to go to Subway for weeks now... and I keep saying no for one reason or another.... So yesterday we bought some sub like bread and today we made our own Subway. Tyler (11yrs) and Ali (9yrs ) thought it was the greatest thing. Ali cut up all the veggies. And we got out different kinds of meats and cheeses and since I had left over meatballs and spaghetti sauce from the other night... we all got to pick and choose. So Tyler had a Meatball cheese and pepperoni sub and Ali had ham, salami and turkey sub with a ton of veggies and I had a mix of salami and turkey. This really made Ali's day and now she doesn't want to go to subway... She rather do this again when Daddy is home and "play" Subway worker and make all of our sandwhiches..

It's amazing how little things can be so much fun for kids. Ali loves learning how to cook and making things. I love how she wants to be in the kitchen.

LOL, Actually you may want Tyler to make you one. His looked really good today. It had provologne cheese and then several meatballs and some sauce and mozzerella cheese and pepperoni on top and then melted in the microwave. It looked really good.
